Bloom Ventures, Kedaara and Sequoia Capital India have invested in the online beauty platform, Purplle.com. Purplle.com aims to develop technology, deepen its talent hold, and bring new and advanced products to its customers. The vast experience of Kedaara will give a massive boost to the platform, as per the company’s co-founder and CEO, Manish Taneja. He also stated that this round will help the company move progressively forward, toward achieving future growth.

The company began its journey around 2012, with 50,000+ products in its kitty. It also has more than 7 million users on the platform. Purplle.com is already striving towards ensuring a more democratized space for personal care and beauty in India, with a unique approach.

Growing its GMV by six times over the last three years, the company is already walking towards a strong growth orbit. It is steadily moving towards building a global multibillion-dollar beauty and personal care company from India itself. The latest funding round will be a shot in the arm toward achieving this objective.
